Photo Essay

This series was completed over a period of 4 weeks in November 2019, during which I followed and photographed Francois Hirron and David Kauffer, two friends with a common passion for soccer. In their free time, the two French natives play together as Goal Keeper and defensive midfielder for the team of Montreal City.

However, when they are done playing, they take off their jerseys and put on their coach caps for maybe the future star players of Montreal. Indeed, David and Francois train the Junior teams for the Impact of Montreal. David takes care of the 8-year-old team while Francois takes care of the 13-year-old team.

Photo Essay

Through this essay, I show the work of some people and organizations trying to save, help and care for animals that were once not so lucky. My series takes place at the SPCA of Montreal, a place where abandoned and mistreated animals actually get a chance at a better life.
